Great place to just relax and watch planes take off and land, no admission fee

Great view of planes landing and taking off! There are benches and small fence openings, allowing the use of telephoto camera lens. There is a nice sushi restaurant (Kaisen Misakiko) near the observation deck. If you still craving for sushi before departure, this restaurant offer conveyor belt sushi. The sushi was not bad for the location.

There are plenty of seats. There is food court, Lawson and vending machines nearby. We usually get ice cream and enjoy the view.

You can watch many aircrafts from here, mainly from the Star Alliance airlines. The good part is that if you have a reflex camera there's few parts in the fence where you can stick it out so there won't be any obstruction within your sights.

The worse thing about this place is you know that you are leaving japan if you’re here, but there is a great selection of souvenirs here to take home and good local restaurants while you want for your flight
